Join us for a conversation between Rick Altergott, whose new graphic novel Blessed Be is an artful skewering of traditional American values, Beth Hetland, who uses body horror to critique women’s societal expectations of self-sacrifice in Tender, Nina Bunjevac, who crafts a horrifying feminist allegory with Bezimena, Caitlin Cass who created Suffrage Song: The Haunted History of Gender, Race and Voting Rights in the U.S. , and Anita Kunz, whose feminist takes on traditional works and modes of art are on full display (pun intended) in Striking a Pose: A Handy Guide to the Male Nude and Another History of Art!
